Located next to the Roc de Tavaneuse, Mont Brion offers 3 east-facing routes, from 250 to 300 metres high, of difficulty D+ to TD-.
Nestled in the massive rock complex of Tavaneuse, this rocky face, 250 m high, with its surprising and adherent rocky grain, contrasts with the surrounding peaks where vegetation reigns supreme. Admittedly, the steep grass is widely present in the face but without ever altering the impression of verticality of places. The face, well exposed to the sun, usually dries quickly after the rain..
Access: from Abondance, take the Prétairié road. From there, go up to the Serranants mountain pasture, then follow the valley in the direction of the Pas de Savolaire. The cliff is on the right.
The helmet is recommended.
