In the heart of the authentic Abondance valley, join in one hour’s walk a beautiful refuge, located at 1500 m altitude at the foot of Mount Grange. It proposes you the accomodation and small restauration.

The refuge is nestled on top of a ridge at 2114m altitude, 100m below the Dent d’Ouche summit and on the GR5 route. Only accessible on foot it takes around 3 hours to walk from the Fétiuère restaurant car park. The Bise Refuge is a 5-hour walk (and a 7-hour walk if you go via Lake Tanay).
Open every day from mid-June to mid-September. In the event of very bad weather reservations may be refused.

Situated at an altitude of 1500m in the middle of the Ubine prairies. It is accessible by car from Ubine (Vacheresse 20km – 30mins) or from La Chapelle d’Abondance roughly a 2-hour walk via the Ubine Pass.

This refuge is at an altitude of 1985 mètres, next to Lake Vert (in the Swiss Valais alpine pastures). It is on the GR5 footpath (via the Bassachaux pass). This refuge is accessible by car up to the Bassachaux car park. Then it is about a 1hour 15min walk to reach the refuge.
You can reserve to stay the night anytime between mid-June to mid-September. However if bad weather conditions are forecasted your reservation may be refused. For more information please contact the refuge directly:
